  1. I have a pretty exciting trip planned for four months, and I’m looking for ways to stay in shape. As of right now, I plan on bringing my running shoes and buying a lightweight yoga travel mat–all so I can stay fit throughout my travels.
    I realize that you tend to walk more when backpacking from city to city, but that just doesn’t cut it for me. I’d like to focus on getting my heart rate up with some runs, working out some of my muscles so they don’t go dormant, and stretching for flexibility via yoga.

  2. I gotta be honest, I travel with my big manduka. It’s not light, that’s for sure, but the travel mats I found were too thin and flimsy. I like a sturdy base for my yoga.
